Wtf.. i think the idea is to get it in your best player’s hands for the last possession.

Lee was probably supposed to pass or shoot the ball before the time expired.

The defense on the play before that was just as bad if not worse.

We haven't had any answers for what to do with the game on the line this season. It has been a problem all year long or we would have had a few more wins. I think we lost every game that came down to one possesion other than Vandy on the road when Lee nailed a ridiculous step back 3 ball.

This.

The defense on that last Iowa possession was non-existent. It should have never came down to Lee with the ball. Florida was better than that. Dang.

High quality coaching right there. Let go of the ball one way or another before time expires. Brillant.

Who is their best player? And Haugh can't be dribbling the ball the length of the floor. The only other choice was Boogie. And I think that would have been a better choice. He can get to the hoop, and he's taller and more physical. Lee got bumped off his path, and that was that.

Yeah I agree. I didn't like the defense we were playing the entire 2nd half, but it did seem to screw Iowa up and let us come back and take the lead, but I think it was more Iowa trying to protect the lead than anything we were doing. As soon as they lost the lead, you could see them shift to a more aggressive gear on offense and take the lead back. For as good as we played all year on defense, Iowa was getting wide open looks at the end of the game, and we were smothered by their defense.

It sucks, but it was a pretty fun season while it lasted.

Pressing Iowa with a 2-point lead was so dumb. Once Iowa broke the press easily, the court was wide open.

This ^^^

That was the biggest breakdown of the game other than Boogie deciding not to show up and be a floor general for the entire game. Boogie was the one that got beat on the last inbounds play as well. Huge mistake.

Yea..not sure on that..but Todd knows basketball and his players and how to come back in tight situations in march..so who am my arse to question it? I def think it was wrong, but he may have seen something I missed.
