Well deserved. He’s one of the real up and comers.

Bryan can definitely get them further than that. Pretty rabid fanbase, a good league and no football to compete with for resources. A pretty good spot for him to nude his time until returning to Tuscaloosa.

I think that'll get you arrested in most states.

Ha, I meant bide his time. Damn phone keyboards.

But hey, I don’t know how he rolls. Maybe it’s accurate.

I would think USF would be a better job than Providence College. Better recruiting, better league, better climate, bigger school. I like Hodgson and would like to have him back in Tuscaloosa someday. I’m surprised he turned down Syracuse just to take Providence a week later.

Big East is a solid basketball league. I'm sure that if Hodgson took the job, given his recruiting acumen, it means Providence has some boosters wanting to compete with UCONN, Villanova and St John's.

Syracuse has a big time basketball name but who knows if Jim Boeheim still being there would be seen as a drawback. Didn't they just promoted his ex-assistant Gerry McNamara to HC after previously handing the job to his previous assistant?

Big East is a significantly better league than The American. Yeah it's not as good as it was 10 years ago but they still get 3+ bids every year.
