We should have did with Illinois did and got them both. They are the missing pieces we need. With them in the rotation we would be a legit national title team.

He scored 2 points and had 4 rebounds in 17 minutes against an 11 seed.

Not what we’re missing.

Cam Fletcher would have been nice on the other hand.

Say what? He's been a major disappoinment at Illinois this year...

6ppg 4rpg and only 17 minutes a game. His three point percentage went from 37% at Arkansas to 28%.

He's scored 8 points total in their 2 tournament games.

I’ll be pleasantly surprised if I’m wrong but I think Houston runs them out of the gym. They’re as slow of a team as I’ve seen. Houston is just as tough, experienced and way more athletic. Think their guards will smother Illinois.

He’s a statue.

You can get much more out of a 6-7+ guy with a body and some skill in college.

He wouldn’t see the floor, even with us rolling 6 right now.

A Dia, Murphy or Mitchell would have been perfect for this team. Cal has to get a guy like that in the portal next year.

Justin Smith if he’s out there.

Yeah I agree, I did not expect to see an Ivisic thread today, dudes been arse.

Cal missed/got outbid on Koa Peat, Chris Cenac and Nate Ament. For months we thought we had Ament too then he pushed it back and everyone thought Duke before Tenn out of nowhere with a big offer stole him from both.

He lands any of those 3 and yeah, we're a natty team for sure.

Wasn’t Morez in the mix too? He would have been nice.

Edit: doesn’t matter. Learn from it next year but win now. Somehow get past AZ and things are very interesting.

Ewin is playing well enough to get us very far with our guards

Z is too damn slow when you make it far enough. We aren't playing for a second weekend exit.

If guard play is really what wins in March, we can beat them. Our guards are better. But it will be tough, no doubt.

Well this is one I've not heard before. I can't speak on his brother, but Zona would have Big Z fouled out within 10 minutes.

Cal's issue was that he should have scraped up an extra $1 million or two and got someone better than Pringle to replace him.

Not finding minutes for Elmir throughout the season is what will hurt us against Arizona. He wouldn't be as lost on the floor and would know to give the business and make fouls count.

Big Z was AWFUL defensively in the post.

He occasionally blocked shots and was a so so rebounder, but having him would still not make much of a difference.

We need a BULLY/ENFORCER in the post.

I'm afraid they're going to chew us all the way up, but here's hoping. I never expected us to get past the second round all season right up until we won the SEC-T, so it's house money to me.

Tommy Lloyd has Mark Few Syndrome.

5 years @ Zona after 20 at Gonzaga as an assistant.

21-22 - Wins the Pac 12, Ranked #2, draws 5 seed Houston in S16 and loses by 12

22-23 - Second in Pac 12, gets bounced as a 2 seed in the first round by Princeton.

23-24 - wins pac 12, gets bounced in the S16 by Clemson

24-25 - gets bounced by Duke in the Sweet 16.

0-3 in S16 with a avg loss by 8 pts

He’ll piss his pants coaching against Cal. More pressure on him than Cal. Our players just have to show up and play at their best for 40 minutes.
