Tony Vitello
UT -> SF Giants
After a second crushing series loss in a few short weeks to end the 2025 season, Tony V knew he would never have the horses DVH had in Fayetteville. Not even the hailed second coming of Roger Clemens, Liam Doyle, could get them over the hump. In an emotional press conference, Tony expressed his desire to one day return to Fayetteville and lead the Hogs. However, DVH has unfinished business and Tony was told his tenure as "Head Hog" would have to wait. He decided it was best to be "on hold" in MLB given DVHs epic roster coming in this season
Paul Marinari
USC -> Bread line
After an offensive assault by the Hogs in Columbia (22-6! Mercy Rule!), former CWS champ and many time coach of the year Paul Marinari was unceremoniously shite canned by the once-proud baseball Cocks mid season, mid series, and probably mid-breakfast. Athletic Director Emeritus (yes that's real) Ray Tanner prefers the leisurely 5 hour game pace he set as coach with his constant wandering out of the dugout and reportedly did not like how Paul was speeding up the games by getting the team mercy ruled. I'm sure a second-rate club will pick Paul up and try to rehabilitate him. Oh wait, that's what this job was!
Who is next??
Wes Johnson (UGA)
UGA comes to Fayetteville in mid-April. Once it becomes clear UGA is not going anywhere with the Hogs in the SEC driver seat, will Wes seek a return to Fayetteville as Dave's pitching coach? Is he tired of transfer portal scraps, paltry crowds of 2000 in Athens, and playing for 10th in the conference? Time will tell if the interest in a Fayetteville reunion is mutual.
Kerrick Jackson (Missouri)
The Hogs roll into Columbia Missouri in late April, fresh off what is likely to be more of a challenge from Missouri State April 21. Kerrick is coming off a 16th place finish in the conference last year (16-29, 3-27 SEC), with an overall record of 55-77 (13-51 SEC). Given Arkansas outscored Missouri 51-9 in a three-game sweep last season, this one will be another bloodbath. Hopefully the great baseball fans in Missouri will be able to enjoy some long-distance home runs in Columbia, if only for a three day span. But I do not think Kendrick is long for this job given that record.
Mike Bianco (Mississippi POW)
Mike and the boys make a late-season trip to Fayetteville this year. Playing top quality competition late in the year isn't always Mike's bailiwick, and OM fans are not known for their patience. I could see a scenario where, after weeks of assuring that Mike is the head coach of Ole Miss from AD Pete Golding, it is announced Mike will not be coaching the Rebels in the postseason after a series loss to Arkansas. Does Bianco's kid still play for LSU? Is that a possible landing spot for Mike??

That sound you heard was CNB closing the tab with the witty response he had typed out because he thought they were going to win today

That old saying “act like you’ve been there”? Everyone needs to remember when it comes to Arkansas, their fans have in fact not been there. So you have to excuse them.
