NIL should not go to the player. It should go into a Trust Fund.

And they should get it when they are 30. Giving kids that amount of money only destracts them and leads to trouble and waste.

Its like giving a 12 year old a million dollars.

Let them live a bit. Let them see their NBA or NFL dreams go to shite. Let them try to find a job and struggle to pay rent. And focus on finishing their degree.

Then, after they know what life is really like and they know that simetimes money is hard to come by, send them a check for twice as much on their 30th birthday.

Some of these current players today are close to 30.

A % of these kids probably help out their poor families with their earnings so not letting them access the money until they turn 30 would never fly.

I'm sure you'd be happy about your paycheck being forced into a trust fund that you wouldn't have access to for several years, too.

They’re adults. If they blow it on drugs and good times then so be it.

We create the demand and supplying it cost money.

When people quit caring so much about sports then they won't make so much money. Until then get your checkbook out.

I always thought it should go into a trust account that they would get at graduation or if they declared early.

But our federal courts have said you cannot restrict anything. I'm still shocked they're required to be enrolled at the school to play...another "restraint on trade" or some BS.
