I wish the committee had put us against Miami(OH). Wins vs. SOS

Their PG is 4/6 from the field.

Who do we root for in the SEC? I think it would be cool to see The Razorbacks run the table.

I root for Auburn. Nothing else matters.

Sorry to ruin your March madness party.

Outside of that… do you. lol

I married into Bama and also have UGA grads in the family.

With that said, depending on the situation, I will root for other SEC teams. Miss St/Ark in CWS, USCe when they played WBB Championship; but will never actually root for Bama/UGA

I enjoy March Madness and the close games! I will root for UTenn to crush M(OH) on Friday also!

It’s always been a bullshite tournament when it comes to Auburn. We get shitty draws when we do get in (except for the home game against Houston as an 8 seed). Refs also have their favorites. Tonight it was Miami(oh), as they called a bunch of touch fouls on the 7 footer to take him out of the game.

As for SEC, I like Arkansas and UT but will pull for all of them but Bama and UGa and the two Texas schools.

Before I became active on SECrant I would have made Arkansas "my team" to pull for in the tournament, but after seeing those in-breds talk about how superior their basketball program is to the rest of the SEC (including Kentucky) Im struggling to find a SEC team to root for. I guess my pick is still Arkansas mostly because I hate the others too much to pull for. I'll be sure to avoid any Arkansas posts in SECrant for a couple of weeks so that I dont change my mind

Anchor Down and eff the rest of the SEC. Also Miami of Ohio would have boat raced us. They hit 16 3's vs SMU so that would translate to about 25 vs our perimeter D. I have Houston, Duke, Michigan and Arizona in my FF with Arizona beating Duke for the title

You're probably right.... but they still shouldn't have gotten in

This is just me but if they would have boat raced us then that kinda shows they deserved to be in more than we did. Metrics be damned

By precedent at large teams should have be aided by strength of schedule and quality wins.

Miami of Ohio had neither.

I think they would have because we became a truly sucky team by the end of the season.

However they didn't earn the right with their season for an invite to the dance.

My exact bracket, I have Bama losing to Texas Tech, as Anderson is back. Sucks JT is out

I have no argument against this. All the teams on the bubble had numerous flaws. That's why they/we were on the bubble. I would have chosen Miami of Ohio because what they did during the regular season is impressive regardless of the level of competition

After 24-9 South Carolina was left out I demand strength of schedule now.

Yeah exactly. It's that bullshite that made me think "okay you leave those teams out from now on those teams need a stronger schedule or go NIT. Those teams didn't have great schedules but they had one or two quality wins at least.

So, now all of a sudden the SOS doesn't matter and the small conferences have a legitimate chance to get multiple teams in just because their conference isnt strong enough to compete.
