Multiple corroborating sources (including reports from CBS Sports, On3, AL.com via Nick Kelly, and others) consistently confirm these exact two charges. Both are classified as felonies under Alabama law.

So why just charge a misdemeanor? The criminal Oates regime has a hold on the law.

For context on the charges (based on Alabama statutes, as referenced in related coverage):

First-degree possession of marijuana typically applies to larger quantities (e.g., over certain thresholds like the pound-plus amount here), making it a felony rather than a misdemeanor.

The failure to affix a tax stamp relates to Alabama's requirement for a drug tax stamp on certain quantities of marijuana (often tied to intent to distribute or large amounts), which is also a felony when violated.

Here is the real question. Does Holloway have air conditioning?

Didn’t drive a murder weapon to the scene. Slap on the wrist.

I doubt Tuscaloosa wants a circus over this and he'll have the funds to hire a good criminal lawyer, they'll plea it down and make it go away quietly
