Joining the Mountain West Conference. I’ve been wondering if/when they’d make the jump. Who knows, they may become Boise State 2.0.

I’ve always felt Boise was kind of the Southern Miss of that part of the country. A team full of guys with a chip on their shoulders.

Idk why they would want to move to a division where their ceiling is losing 56-0 in the first round of a playoff.

UNA used to have a great team. They went Div 1 and their team went to hell. Bad decision by ND St.

I think some of these FCS schools just assume it’ll be easy to move up and make bank.

With Boise State moving off into the rebuilt PAC12 the Mountain West needed another school and none others regionally made sense. The Mountain West needs them to get to a 10 team conference and maintain a conference title game. It allowed the MW to sign a new media deal which was just finalized as well.

ND State will be competitive with others in that conference and will likely get annual payouts of over $6 million. Their FCS level payouts aren't public but it's rumored that they are well under $1 million per school.
