This marks the 4th such streak for an SEC team to come to and end this year.
A 90-week streak for Tennessee (2022-2026) came to and end this year. This stands as the 3rd longest streak in SEC basketball history.
A 47-week streak for Kentucky (2024-2026) came to ann end this year. This stands as the 15th longest streak in SEC basketball history.
A 42-week streak for Alabama (2024-2026) came to an end this year. This stands as the 18th longest streak in SEC basketball history.
A 41-week streak for Auburn (2024-2026) came to an end this year. This stands as the 20th longest streak in SEC basketball history.
The longest active streak in the SEC belongs to Arkansas (14 weeks) followed by Vanderbilt (10 weeks).
