Reasons to Hate Every SEC Team

I repeat: Ditch The tired Tigers mascot.

Tigers directly ties to Auburn, from Oliver Goldsmith’s poem. “Auburn” can no more ditch “Tigers” than we can cut off our right arm. The two are inherently tied together.
Likewise, War Eagle is our proud and unique battle cry (even though the Legend is almost certainly a fictional yarn).
Rather than picking one or the other, I have a better idea - let’s be ourselves and tell people who don’t like it to kiss our arse!

Truth. Does Bama yell go Elephants? Its the exact same, 1 is a mascot and the other is a batle cry.

Maybe the thing is our other mascot offers such powerful symbolism they cannot detach the thought that its not our primary mascot instead we use a mascot shared by two different SEC schools and several regional schools.

Ole Miss - Rebels/Black Bears/Shark

Should be the Auburn War Eagles and have our own unique identity with the greatest pregame tradition in sports with our eagle flight.
