QB's are often the most delicate and fragile players on a team. They are also the most important and intricate part of any team.

Just as the NFL is implementing safety rules with the new dynamic kickoff return strategy and newly proposed reviews of personal fouls even when not initially called on the field is great news for football safety.

College football needs to follow suit and protect its QB's. Let's not allow any player to touch a QB whatsoever if it is a clear passing play. Just let the QB make his passing attempt and see if he has the talent to complete it or not.

On plays where the QB crosses the line of scrimmage and is running, touching the QB will be sufficient to call the play dead. This will prevent many unnecessary injuries of basically helpless and weaker players like the quarterbacks.

Kickers are protected from any contact. Why shouldn't quarterbacks also be protected? They are more valuable than kickers and are even more vulnerable to devastating bodily injury because they are just standing there.

Dang he got trucked.

I remember back in the day they had "Jacked Up" segments showing people getting hit hard in NFL games. Youtube that. Good stuff.

Best rule would be no running on pass plays. QBs would throw it away or just run to get back to LOS.

Right now teams call deep routes and it’s all fake pass so the QB can run.
