Weird tie in for both in terms of Alabama.
Tom Brady was a nightmare in the Orange bowl against Alabama. We'd pull ahead and he kept putting Michigan back in it. They came back from being down 14 points twice, and then won the game in OT after the Alabama XP was blocked.
Not a fricking clue he was going to be the GOAT QB.
And of course, Saban would go on to coach at Alabama years later.
