I don’t think it ruined college football. Most people complaining, NIL has nothing to do with their rosters like coaching changes, or are blue bloods upset they can’t keep 5 stars on the bench anymore.

In all honesty, despite Mark Cuban throwing his cash into the NIL, most top tier NIL teams in the SEC spend something close to, or above, what Indiana did.
Our problem, right now, as a conference, is that we tend to chase stars. This goober is a 5 star recruit! Never mind we'd be his third program and he hasn't done diddly doo da at his first two stops! Look at his stars!
Our talent evaluation is dog mess. We chase everything but success.

The NIL + unlimited transfers = unrestricted free agency.
There is a reason professional leagues don't allow this bullshite.
And then you follow it up with that stupid shite about teams not being able to keep 5 stars on the bench anymore, while the same damn teams are the ones pulling in top classes.

I recently heard that 40% of all of the players in the portal had not found a new spot. Many of which could not return to their old program because their spot had been filled.
