Who are the contenders to win the SEC and compete for the natty next year?

UGA has basically the entire team coming back. They should be in the mix. Texas will be talented. Portal King doing work at LSU.
Ole Miss may be a contender. Depends on whether Pete can recreate the magic. Oklahoma could make some waves if their QB has a better season. Bama got a super easy schedule but they will still lose to UGA, LSU, and Florida St. So they will likely not make the playoff. The success that Aggie had this year was entirely a product of their schedule. They will fall back to their 8-5 status in 2026.

Now that Texas doesn’t have to play UGA in the regular season they could have a real shot at the SEC Championship and a top 4 seed.

Ignoring the troll you've tried to sneak in there, as is the case every year the top quarter of the league are all going to be contenders.
IT's way too early to even know who that is yet but I am positive that the 1-5 ranked SEC teams in mid-November are all going to be capable of going far in the postseaosn.

Yeah, everyone thinks I’m trying to troll Alabama. I really just don’t think they have the wealth to keep up in this era. They just don’t have super elite alumni like other SEC schools do.

You bring up the SEC championship a lot. Is this because Kirby hasn't won a playoff game in 3 seasons ?

That's weird.
We're ranked 6 spots higher than Georgia in the combined rankings of high school recruits and transfer portal players. We're paying them somehow.

Guess Georgia is poor, huh?

Are you trying to argue that winning a first round game against Oklahoma is more significant than winning the SEC Championship?
Are you just bitter about the fact that Alabama hasn’t won a legitimate natty since 2017?

Everybody but Bama sees the writing on the wall.

We have partnered with major companies like Delta Airlines. Alabama’s biggest NIL partner is Dreamland BBQ. lol.

LSU will be better but not a strong contender. Basically a new team and new staff. Give it another year.

No snarky comments about Tennessee or Florida?

Those programs have both been dead for well over a decade.

Our on-field sponsor is literally the U.S. Navy.
But muh Delta Airlines.

You think the US Navy is giving you NIL money? Hahahaha

You think Delta Airlines is giving Georgia money for NIL?
They are a sponsor.
They aren't directly funding Georgia's NIL account.

The best indication of the future is the past. Bama may not make the playoff but will probably still beat Georgia and LSU.
