With Dante Moore staying put that opens a few interesting scenarios in football.
Does Tennessee get a QB with Dylan Riola entering the transfer portal again?
Does Chambliss stop pushing the courts for the waiver since the #1-2 QB that was going to come off the board won't be there and his draft stock increases?
Serious questions for conversation.

Chambliss is a third round pick at best probably. He would make more staying in college one more year on NIL than if he left now

How much you figure Dante making to stay?

I’ve still yet to find any analysts talking about Chambliss being a first round draft pick. I’m a big fan of his story so I would love nothing more…..but I just haven’t seen anything.

College athletics is in a weird spot with players no longer trying to rush to go pro while acting like they are already pro at the college level.
Go get the money whereever you can and such but injuries do happen, and the NFL retirement pension is still a thing.

With Trinidad specifically, I think a lot of the NFL right now views him as a promising player who got hot for 3 months. Can he show he's consistent or was it just a flash?
I think that's going into Trinidad's thought process and NFL feedback. But if he can do it again, when everyone in the world is expecting him to play like he has and he has all that pressure - NFL draft upside is likely 1st round like a Kyler Murray (if everything goes right).
Essentially, I think he's betting on himself to prove he's more than just a 3 month hot streak.

3rd rd grade doesn’t mean that’s where he gets picked. Teams are desperate for QBs and this is as weak of a QB draft as it gets. Next year is loaded.
This has nothing to do with the LSU/Ole Miss shite talking. He’d be gambling trying to come back.

It’s pathetic that these players make more in college than the NFL. NCAA needs to put a salary cap and a one time transfer rule.

Makes the college game better that some of its top talent is willing to stay rather than bolt as soon as possible.

NCAA has zero power to stop what is happening now. The conferences would have to agree to the rules.

That's just what the "experts" say - no one knows where NFL teams actually rank him. Sure it could be higher, but it could also be lower (See Sanders last year falling to the 6th).

Sanders runs like he’s got concrete on his cleats and his decision making is much worse than a lot of QBs still in college. But your overall point stands. Chambliss is probably gonna get a bag at Ole Miss so it’s not like he’s taking a huge risk by trying to extend his eligibility

My guess is Chambliss gets a 4th+ grade. 5'10" QBs with questionable downfield arm strength aren't usually big draws for NFL teams.
