I think the refs thought his fingers were 8 or 10" long.

2026 and that’s the best most clear shot we got. Should have been as called. The ball is blurry which would mean it’s taken flight. Not sure one could make that blur with it still in hand, would require massive wrist whip.

Plus an 18pt lead at beginning of 2nd half is no guarantee if you watch basketball it happens all the time

The position of the ball is where the front of the motion blur is. The back of the motion blur is where the ball was a frame or two previous. His hand's palm is clear and as noted, he doesn't' have 10" fingers.

Not that it matters at this stage.

I'm going to look for a motion blur removing filter and apply it to that image if I find one. Just for confirmation.

Photoshop has an AI that does deblur and sharpen along with a vector motion blur remover. Not perfect, but that ball was out of his hands by 3 or 4".

Can't blame the refs so much since they probably don't know much about motion blur and didn't have the definitive still to look at, but Auburn won that game.

Sorry, my online image address is gone and forgotten.

If they can't see through blur the call should stand then. Is there not a stringent litmus test

There certainly didn't have definitive evidence. In fact, they blew it.

I just cleared it up via ChatGPT and it looks like it was still in his fingers. I don’t have a hosting to add it here.

Someone who has chatGPT add it and tell them to clear it up and post it here.

We deserved to lose that game regardless. We need that loss to begin the accountabiity process.

You do realize AI specializes in making non-existent reality into apparent but not real life pictures.

And it has no moral compass at all.
