Was it an egregious PI? Yes. He pulled him down and had hands inside his shoulder pad for 10 yards.

But

When you give up so many 3rd and longs throughout the game you can’t get upset about a Hail Mary where even if called it would be 1 play from the 20.

Should have gotten one of the many stops on the previous drive. Or tackled better in the 1st half on 3rd and 11.

I really don’t see any Ole Miss fans even arguing about this. But LSU fans are adamant but shouldn’t be called. Seems like bias.

Possibly the dumbest thing I ever hear fans of sports-ball say. As if you can STOP an official from deciding the game one way or another. You can't.

What old baws never want to admit is that all live-action sports involving a referee are just performance art. No different than gymnastics - although many of you will cringe at the analogy. Yet its true.

Trying to stop any official from deciding the outcome of a game is like trying to stop Vince McMahon from deciding the outcome of WrestleMania.

What we've had since that no-call is a constant cry of "don't harsh my mellow". "Don't ruin my fun". "Don't tell me its not a 100% fairly decided contest".

Well, sorry Cledus from Down South who still has his old high school letterman jacket ... but it ain't a 100% fairly decided contest. You want that ? Start watching bowling. Billiards. Anything without a ref that calls live action fouls.

It was a blown call. That was PI and the refs blew it. Good game and good season ole miss.
