What he’s doing at Indiana is unbelievable.

He’s opening a can of whoopass on teams with a quarter of the talent/resources of some of these programs.

Certain coaches like Bill Snyder were able to do more with less, but he never actually won anything.

I can’t think of anyone doing anything close to this.

Turns out 5th and 6th year 3 stars are better than underclassmen 4 and 5 stars.

Saban mostly won with off the charts blue chip ratios

He wouldn't sniff a Natty with a 70+ ranked composite talent team

I’m not really ready to toot Cignetties horn. The rule changes willl allow a lot of unexpected teams to rise and compete. He’s just the first one it worked out for.

Quite a bit. I think all but like 4 starters or some shite like that, and one of those starters is the Heisman QB.

I think Michigan had more the year they won it though.

I like what Cignetti has done, I hope it changes the sport for the better.

I remember after 2019 Edward O was going to win more NCs than Saban. Let’s see what he does after this year.

Cignetti is a 12 year old playing NCAA dynasty mode.

I do the same shite. Take the worst job possible and turn them into national championship programs and whipping teams with a bunch of 3 stars.

70 % of the starters. Avg age is 23.2

They got 5 starters that graduated high school the same year as Bryce Young. He playing his 3rd season in the NFL

Cignetti's mostly won with players older than those on Saban's last NC team

for 2 years

Saban was the GOAT of the scholarship/recruitment era. Cignetti may become the GOAT of the NIL Era

I didn’t know his team was that old tbh, but talent matters a lot. Otherwise BYU would win it every year. At the very least he identifies overlooked talent and coaches both sides of the ball well.

Also to be clear, I’m not saying he’s the next Saban. I just mean what he’s done with the talent level is remarkable.

For context:

Indiana avg starter is 23.2
Oregons is 22.3
Alabama is 20.3
Auburns was 20.5
Tennessee was 20.5
