Immediately signed a QB for 5 million.

Meanwhile Sark spent the first 6 days stumbling thru the dark.

Finally someone lit a candle for Sark.

Campbell reportedly has offered Coleman more than 4M as well. That is seriously nuts

I know boosters have always existed, but this current system (which is called NIL but is basically disconnected from Name, Image and Likeness at this point) allows the extremely wealthy like Cody Campbell to just buy a competitive team now. He might as well just be called the owner of the Texas Tech Football program.

I met Campbell a few times before he became what he currently is

He did not like me because I told him that our tools couldn’t drill 750’/hr with decent resolution

Good for Tech. But they gotta get out of the Big 12 if he really wants to get his ROI

Tech looked uncompetitive in their playoff game vs Oregon.

A&M at least looked competitive with a close game vs Miami.

Who am I kidding? Big 12 member UH beat up on LSU…

Cody isn't the only Tech booster buying players for Tech.

It seems to me, you Tide people yern for the simple old days when you were mostly the only ones cheating.

No competitive biding on players.

I like it this way. All above board.

Arkansas fans should be most pissed about this. The Waltons have enough money to make Texas Tech and Oregon their feeder programs if they wanted to.

Fayetteville has a whole lot more going for it than Eugene and Lubbock too

You definitely didn't go to Texas, I guarantee that. No Texas grad would dick ride Tech the way you do

He’s going for more than Texas only recruits. You claiming LSU isn’t recruiting any 5 stars they get is dumb.

Agree about this. It's crazy to me actually. Arkansas is the only deep south school in the Lousiana/Alabama/Mississippi corridor who can actually compete with a view to modernity.

This. Playing against the likes of Cincinnati, Utah, Oklahoma State, and UCF year in and year out isn’t going to prepare you for the CFP world.

They might be at the top of the Big 12 every November for the foreseeable future, but that’s only going to be fun for so long.

Iron sharpens iron.
