If Lane had left AFTER last night’s game, would it have made you feel any better?

Quite honestly, does it even matter? If we assume he coached these games, won them how we did and then lost in the semifinal and we still lose our coach, the only variable we don’t really know is how Lane would behave during this extra time he wasn’t afforded in reality. I’m not sure any one of us could predict how Kiffin would handle the circus.

No. We have done a decent job recruiting and retaining talent for next season without Lane, and we won two playoff games. Still think it was the right decision - Lane wouldn't have kicked 3 field goals against UGA

We wouldn’t be playing in last nights game, he wouldn’t have kicked the long field goals vs UGA

OM did not lose because of offense. Your New HC/DC lost the game. You really need a good DC

Alright? We didn’t have the talent to compete on the defensive side of the ball this year. Line was thin, LBs were bad, and so was the secondary. Last year, we didn’t make the playoff because of the offense. It ebbs and flows year to year. Much like how LSU was great offensively in 2022 and 2023 and then terrible in 24 and 25.
