He was Pete's target back in mid December. Pete has said he's gonna remain the DC and run the defense - so Toney will really be more in a "Co-DC" role with just the DC title.

Well, he was pretty trash at UF. He got replaced by Austin Armstrong, for god's sake.
I'm deeply disappointed in this. Hopefully, he learned something

Was hoping for an up and comer (Charlie Weiss Jr. type) hire - obviously you’re not going to get somebody established to come in and be second fiddle to PG, but a young guy looking to move up vs. an older guy whose already tried and failed, but who knows
