If Golding is the reason for OM success. Why are they so mad at LK?

The fan and even their media is becoming dangerously obsessed with Lane. They have their coach that built this playoff program. What’s the problem?

How many times are LSU fans gonna make this thread

Because the amount of posts by other fans is constant about Lane. As long as this whole place is being blown up about Lane, expect there to be posts from LSU fans. If SEC fans here will chill the F out and just move on, you would see those posts dramatically decrease. Don’t you know how things work around here?

I wouldn't say Golding is the reason for the OM success exactly.
But Lane Kiffin blew a 9 point lead against Georgia in the 4th quarter earlier this year, and Golding came back from being down 9 points to beat Georgia this past weekend.

Great, talk about the topic in one of the other 1800 started by LSU fans on the topic.

No, they aren't.
The majority of the threads about Lane Kiffin are being started by LSU fans.
Yourself included.

They're in full spin mode. They don't have much of a choice. They know Lane built the program to where it is currently. Golding has been roundly criticized as a DC during his time in the SEC and now we're supposed to believe he was really the architect of their success.

We're talking about Chambliss' second start of the season on the road in Athens? Yea no way he or the team improved

Except Kiffin has a history of doing this and it's a big reason why he has a total of 2 total road wins against ranked teams.

Because you morons keep talking how Lane did everything to build the program. No credit for Boyce finally getting the Ole Miss Admnistration to back the Athletic Department. No credit to Carter for getting everything the football program could desire. No credit for Walker building one of the best collectives in the nation. No credit to the Assistants that kept the train in the track while Lane was in rehab, stalking Sally in Dallas, blowing off everything as he implemented a PR campaign after his disastrous result is in 2024 and covering for his old coke binges.

Golding's defense has been the biggest improvement for Ole Miss the past few years.
Kiffin was way worse without him. Ole Miss only has 6 total losses in the 3 years since Golding joined the staff. They had 13 losses the previous 3 years under Kiffin, 5 of them the year before Golding joined.
Last year they had the #4 defense in the country according to advanced stats. The strongest Ole Miss team probably ever, but Kiffin managed to blow multiple games like the one @ LSU. In those losses, it was the Ole Miss offense that didn't come through.
Kiffin gives lip service to Saban, but he pretty much showed when he was at Alabama that he resented it. He claims it's since leaving that he's seen the light.
Kiffin without Golding = 4 loss seasons on average.
Kiffin with Golding = 2 loss seasons on average.

Ole Miss had the #1 defense in the SEC last year
Ole Miss hasn't finished worse than 6th in total defense under Pete and that was year one. Everyone pretends the defense is a shite show this year but they finished 5th.

The trolling on his way out teasing the possibility of staying at Ole Miss…He went to a traditionally better program after giving us a great number of years and I’m grateful for his service, but try to do it with some grace. The thought of him coaching us and staying around the program after his decision and petulant behavior was truly preposterous. Other coaches have had similar situations in CFB and stayed at their previous schools until the end of the season but Lane had burned that bridge.

Chambliss' second start of the year was not against Georgia

LSU fans spend more time cheering for other teams than they do their own.
That's what happens when you have a total of 1 season in the past 12 years where you didn't lose a minimum of 3 regular season games, but you still want to talk shite like you are a top program.
The best thing LSU does anymore is getting hyped up and over-ranked in the preseason.
