...their "co-SEC Champiponship" this year (which would have counted as an actual championship back in the day)
does that automatically qualify them to replace Tennessee as a member of the Big 6?

Sorry, but the one and only SEC championship trophy is sitting in a trophy case in Athens, Georgia.
It is sitting right next to the one that Georgia won last year.

You must be a charter member of the Trans-Mississippi outsider cabal.
There are 5 SEC programs that have campuses located west of the mighty Mississippi River.
Not a single one of the those programs has ever won an SEC football championship.
