I get why the Bama fans themselves think the magic is still there, but for the life of me

I don't understand why the rivals and other fans think it's still there. Watch football all year. Anyone would know this is gonna be a close game if not an IU win.
When has DeBoer blown out a good team?
Bama may get back in this. The talent difference may lead to that.
But one team has obviously been a better coached team than the other all year.

Why do you want Alabama to be bad? Alabama is the only SEC team that has presented any problem to UGA. Iron sharpens iron!

Several teams "gave us problems". Ole Miss and the Vols come to mind. You happen to be the only ones to parlay it into a win. Congratulations but are you arguing this is the sort of team you guys expect?

The defense hasn’t been the problem.
Indiana scored a touchdown with short field. Georgia feasted on short field.
Alabama’s offense is the problem - which is concerning with an offensive coach. Grubb has been a letdown since mid season.

Has nothing to do with wants. I watched you play this year.
Your team last year had a higher ceiling. Maybe lower floor with Milroe's boneheaded decisions, but at its best was a better team.

I think it’s disbelief that Indiana is really this good more than belief in Bama or DeBoer.
What Cignetti has done is unbelievable and Indiana, without tons of 4 or 5 star talent, is extremely impressive.
Bama just doesn’t seem that good.
