Currently he is 3 receptions shy of tying the most receptions for a WR in UGA history. If he notches 4 against Ole Miss he will break it. Hell of a season for the young man.

Does Terrence Edwards hold the record right now?

Edwards is the only 1K guy. Some guy from the 80s or something has the receptions record.

Brice Hunter, rest in peace, played with Zeier and Hearst from 92-95.

Brice Hunter was a game changer for the entire Georgia football program, imo.

As was Zeier.

Was the record made during a regular season or did it include bowl games?

With 3 and 4 more games per season, a lot of records are broken by players with more games played. On the flip side, we rotate a lot of spots we didn’t rotate 20 years ago plus.

A receiver can theoretically average less than 60 yards per game and be a 1,000 yard receiver in college football now. Definitely different.
