Friday night when Alabama goes down early - Alabama should’ve never made it! This should’ve been Notre Dame!

Last night - James Madison scored a lot of points, more than several power five teams have in the playoff. They deserved it!

The anti SEC bias in the majority of the media is real. The Big10 going back to back has made it worse. As much as this board roots against Alabama, an Alabama win against Indiana would go a long way in re establishing the SEC brand.

I think you’re confusing posters on the rant with the media.

ETA: as to the first part of your post.

Not at all. There are plenty of media - mainly northeast or west coast - who take great pleasure in the SEC stronghold being broken. There will be plenty hoping for Indiana to blow out Bama.

JMU gave up 51. No, they didn’t deserve to get in over ND or Vandy.

There are many media members outside of ESPN. Those are mainly the ones I’m referencing. They really aren’t hard to spot.

There is no harm in pointing out that Tenner and SMU are cock gargling champions.

If that makes you mad then direct your anger at Tenner.

Well, they shouldn’t have.

The medias job is to get ratings not be fair or even give honest takes. ESPN is a tabloid not news.

The media isn't speaking to logic, fairness, or common sense. Why would an SEC championship change that? Hate speaks to what's in the heart, not the head. And nothing is changing that?

IIRC, JMU only scored 6 points in the first half, and then it was pretty clear Oregon didn’t give AF, since they were clearly winning anyway.

No but he’s protecting a G5 blowout by bringing up p5 teams. If Alabama doesn’t belong at the point they’re down 17, James Madison shouldn’t be given credit for giving up 50+ and getting blown out. It’s moving the goal posts for the sake of carrying a narrative.

Everything the committee has done has been a counter to the SEC’s dominance. The BCS went away because of the Alabama/LSU rematch. The field was expanded from 4 to 12 because Alabama/Georgia met in the championship game twice in less than five years.

I’m rooting for an all SEC title game again because frick em all

James Madison was down 34-3 at halftime. Oregon took their foot off the gas. This isn’t difficult to figure out
