Alabama set to make its ninth appearance in the Rose Bowl...

This is eighth most all-time and most all-time among non-Pacific/Big Ten schools. After an absence of 75 years from the Granddaddy of Them All, this will be the Tide's third Rose Bowl appearance in the last five years.

And we are 5-2-1 there (7-7 tie with Stanford 1927). As they say, "Remember the Rose Bowl to win".

Haha, that is like the guys in finance saying "we have combat experience".
Even though I am an LSU alum and give to Bayou Traditions, I am still not that starved for attention.

And yet you choose to list your credentials anyway.
This game would not exist in its current form if not for fans. So you can try to dunk on fans for using that pronoun however much you like. That being said, these players don't play for our favorite universities if not for us.
