I'd heard something like 20 voters voted AGAINST him (?!?!?!). Even if you're not an Alabama fan, how can you in good conscience vote against him? What he's accomplished is pretty incredible.

I don’t recall. I watch a lot of You Tube and saw it somewhere on there. I’m sure Auburn and probably Ohio State alums voted against him.

I read (nothing official) that there’s a limit to the number of nominees that can be voted on by an individual. The speculation was that the ones who didn’t vote for Coach Saban assumed he was a lock and cast their votes for some who might be more borderline.
