ND needed a bowl win this season , to show they should have been in playoff. ND just didn’t have a good win. A win over a good bowl opponent would have been that. Although too late for playoff it would have helped their cred next year…

Notre Dame is kinda similar to 2011 Georgia.
Started 0-2, finished the regular season winning 10 straight but with no real significant wins. That team wouldn’t have been playoff worthy and neither is Notre Dame.

I agree they needed a bowl win but you gotta be honest. If they’d have beaten BYU, nobody would have said it was a great win. They were fricked either way

i was there. great game. been to all our matchups as well as our games with tenner in the SECCg except 2022. that was the only one i missed.

Yes, a lot can happen in a year. I agree.
I know I'm probably in the minority, but I don't hate Notre Dame. I also don't like Notre Dame. I simply do not care about Notre Dame.
I'm not sure WHY Notre Dame isn't accepting a bowl invitation, and I don't care enough to find out why. But on the surface it appears they are only hurting themselves if that means they don't get the extra pratice time.
