If you can go 80 over in a UGA issued hellcat, you should be allowed to play on Saturday.

You wouldn't want that. This is a dumb idea.

Why not just let players transfer before the final rankings and then let the committee decide the best teams based on new roster ratings

Because they are still enrolled in classes at that time.

Why should a student athlete, enrolled and taking classes at a school not be allowed to play?

It already impacts schools, with players leaving during that time. So it’s one sided. You lose players but don’t gain any that can play.

Go ahead and make it a rule. None of the coaches will adopt it. None.

And what does school matter anymore at this point anyways? You're talking about paid professionals.

This entire thread is stupid.

Because a team we play in a playoff could moneywhip one of our 3rd stringers with some tampering and get our playbook, calls, and signals.
