Tulane and James Madison are in. And the teams that are elite this year got in (Georgia, Indiana, OSU). And there are teams that could get hot and make a run.

I’d give the playoff committee a 6/10 for their efforts this year.
What do you say?

I'm feeling 4/10 tbh.

ETA: and the worst of it wasn't just today. Throughout the season they've gotten a lot wrong.

IMO, I'd call it a botched job.

Texas as #1 STARTING THE SEASON was a taste of what was to come.

I'll be interested to see who makes the semi finals this year.

Last year it was the 5-8 seeds.

7/10, 9/10 would be
Vandy and ND swapping out Miami and Alabama

The problem is they paint themselves in a corner with these weekly rankings. For example. ND should’ve been a shade below Vandy this entire time.

They’d be better served to post a BCS formula ranking weekly but then on the last weekend make adjustments if necessary.

I'd say they mostly got it right, minus the auto bids for G5 teams.

For the current format they use, I'd say 6/10.

But for how they keep changing metrics and what matters every year, 2/10.

Bring back the BCS and remove the G5 teams and seed accordingly. Done.

The safest bet would be Georgia to win it all imo. That was different team than what beat Auburn.

They only got one thing wrong as far as the teams: BYU should have been in over Miami. Vandy/UT getting the shaft sucks but that’s the dumb frick rules they were given.

Bama should have been 10, not 9, but I’m not really dissecting the ordering here, just the teams.
