That gave up. I don’t care how far down or how much time is left you finish. Team is soft, lacks fundamentals. How do you go in to that game no what would appear no scheme or plan???

You must have missed that first round ncaa game (last year) against a team with one guy you have to run box and 1 (ball denial) and we let him cook us all game ...
The defense approach indicates that Gates can't win without an NBA roster ... where you can run a 5 man switching scheme cause they're all PROs

Gates is such a bad basketball coach.

His “defense” is predicated on speeding up the opponent and hope they make mistakes. If they don’t make a bunch of them, they’re going to get a bunch of open shots.

They are mentally soft.
I’m not sure I’ve seen someone with as underdeveloped a prefrontal cortex as Phillips in a while. He has a hair trigger temper and worse decision making.

That 3 and then breakaway dunk with under 10 seconds left stung. They wouldn’t have done that to any other team.
