I think at this point if yiu are going to go after a QB in the portal yiu have to land a H.R.

Lag needs a QB coach and OC to help him..he has tons of athletic talent but terribke at reasing a defense, needs coaching.

Accuracy and Fundamentals, Not so much
Im sorry but that doesnt get fixed at the College level.
Id love to see him play well, but I dont think he's it.

I really hope we get someone with some experience in the portal so if it doesn't work out. I am not sure the backup is SEC starter caliber and the new QB looks like he will need that first year to get ready.

Shouldn't Florida's strength and conditioning be top notch and lagwzy not have to go somewhere else to train
We need a a great strength and conditioning coach
This has been a joke at UF since Napier took over
I hope sumrall brings in someone to get these guys in shape and not have to go outside the program to get in shape
This makes UF look horrible
There is never any reason for a football player at UF to go elsewhere to work on his strength and conditioning period!!!!!

What level of a QB though? If they foolishly keep paying Lagway money no other team would probably dream of giving him now I wonder. Personally I would cut it big time and let him walk and you have the funds for one that has shown he can read a defense. If another big time power 4 team can rehab Lagway to play at a good level more power to them. I would take that chance all day.

I could care less where Lagway trains. It's obvious his QB trainer couldn't help him much the last 2 years reading a defense or even with basic mechanics. Lagway probably still has the big head some former players alluded to that doesn't sit well with some teammates when you haven't earned it on the field.

It wouldn't surprise me with how things went on the sidelines after he was messing up with picks etc. After his poor play he needs to earn being a leader on the field and if he is acting like an arrogant big shot off the field he damn sure hasn't earned the right to do it with his terrible play.

If Faulkner can make KIng a big name, He's Lagway lite imo. Kid missed many layups vs UGA in 24 that cost them that game.
Ppl talking about us not playing a FR QB yet teams like PItt play em and win, now that we have REAL coaches we need to not be so quick to dismiss the idea.
But I do think we get a guy from the portal who will beat out Lagway.

Best of luck to DJ. I will remember him as the biggest disappointment at QB since John Brantley and that wasn’t his fault, square peg in round hole.
