I thought he was the issue with the running game but we can’t do squat. With the talent at OL, I assume it’s a culture/mentality issue

No, its the scheme.

We're are playing old school west coast football in the SEC even though decades of information could tell you it wouldn't work.

Proctor has gotten a lot better and Carroll is good for a freshman, but on the interior Brailsford is the only consistently good player. My thought on the constant OL rotation this season is that they were just trying to find someone worth a damn at guard and kept hoping for the light to come on. Carroll was probably the best of the bunch, but that means Formby at RT, which is....less than ideal. Sanders has potential but he's probably still too light. The rest just got their asses whipped too much.

The RBs were also very bad. At least a couple of slow, hesitant, stiff, weak, and lacks vision could be used to describe all of them.

Tell me what that means. Seriously, I see us trying a power run game and getting dominated. Not what I think of as west coast, but I don’t claim to be a scheme savant

This was my thought early on w/ Jam. At least with Hill being 240, he can fall forward.

Maybe give the freshman some touches if we make the CFP. Maybe he’ll be hungry and run hard.
