Booing college players used to be in poor taste, but the rules have changed and expectations of fan behavior have changed with them.

Mark Pope isn’t shooting the shots. Your players suck. I get it. But booing them will do nothing except trash your season and have the players lose even more confidence. If Pope is gone, he’s gone regardless of boos. It’s so early in the season…

Booing a coach in an obvious booing of a coach situation is a lot different than booing 18 and 19 year olds, regardless if they’re making money. Have some class. They’re YOUR players representing YOUR school.

Correct.
It was a different deal when these players weren’t working the portal, negotiating deals, sitting out games for “load management”, etc. I’m not booing a kid who is on a team and not getting paid (that we know of).
At this point they’re pros. And pros can be boo’d when they perform this bad.

They are making Millions to perform?! And the word “kid” is over used in college sports. If they can make adult money, they can handle adults booing. It’s not like they are throwing rocks at them.
