Looks like fresh Kirby food, the kind he swallows whole. Ra-ra bullshite won't save him when he has to go up against Kirby every season.

Pretty satisfying how Florida fans continue to be humbled. Still think of themselves as one of the swinging dicks in college football and some prestigious program, but then they keep settling for leftovers in their coaching searches.

I watched that last night, he has a Dabo vibe to him, and not in a good way.

Nervous laughter at his own non-jokes like Kamala Harris.

He's going to be eaten alive in this conference.

I think it was as very good hire. Don't think he is leftovers.

Florida fans really wanted Kiffin. Kiffin would've brought a lot of high flying offense and points, which Florida fans still like to associate the program with, and he also wears a visor and already looks like he's from Florida. But then Kiffin said no thank you. Had to be a kick in the nuts to their ego.

Willie Fritz ressurrected the Tulane program, so I don't know how much credit Summral can get at Tulane. But if you go back further, Summral ressurected the Troy program. But then again Billy Napier resurrected the Ragin Cajuns program.

All of that talk of resurrections just to say who the frick really knows. Maybe he'll be good for Florida. But the odds of him being able to turn around the series with Georgia are not on his side. One more national title and Kirby will be on the Mount Rushmore of SEC coaches. The new Florida goober is about to step way up in class.

He reminds me of Ron Zook

Zook lasted 3 years.

And beat us 2 of those 3. He might have sucked overall, but...

Muschamp was 4 years. McElwein was 3 years. Mullen was 4 years. Napier was 4 years.

Florida fans are just now realizing that they've been in football hell for a while now and there's no end in sight. If there are any players left in the NFL from their last SEC championship team, it'd have to be a kicker. It's great!

It's fortunate that there was no social media back in 2002. George Foster and Terrence Edwards would've been in hell. People messed with Foster's car after the game. It got so back for Terrence Edwards without social media that some people got together in Sandersville and put up a We Support Terrence Edwards billboard. Georgia fans were so championship starved and starved to beat Florida that things sort of got out of hand.

Little Brother Gator Grad Ph. D. is positively despondent about Sun Belt Billy 2.0 being given the keys to the program. He's been sending me screenshots of his Gator Discord group and they're damned near ready to burn Ben Hill Griffin to the ground. Printing up protest flyers, demands to stop buying merch, canceling season tickets, etc.

Being great at basketball also makes it easier for apathy to set in. Auburn and Florida are both 1 Final Four and 2 or 3 more shitty football seasons away from being basketball schools, at least temporarily.

Sucks for Tech. I care not. I don't know why people put this guy on a throne.

I think they were good coaches but didn’t have the players. With NIL, they will get the players. Tough to compare any of them since they were not in the same landscape as is today

He left to tech for a promotion. Going to Florida is a lateral move, more of a "I hate GT" move than "I hate UGA" move. Perhaps he's another one of our secret agents who returns home someday, if AI doesn't put assistant coaches out of business in the next three years.

Just read his Wikipedia page. He was an analyst here for three years. LOL. That's his only UGA affiliation.

People are afraid of this guy?

Don’t think anyone is “afraid” of anyone right now. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t a really good hire for them. Not a coach out there that a UGA fan should be “afraid of.”
