Notice some SEC schools didn’t hire Jimmy Sexton
clients yesterday.

Meh, he honestly wasn’t that hard on him.
The entire college football world rightly sees Kiffin as the same immature child he has always been. He should have accepted the Louisiana State job quietly behind the scenes, publicly refused to talk about any job openings, and then left after the season was over. I’m sure Louisiana Statw would have been fine with that.

It's funny how so many posters here are trying to moral-authority this situation -- that would be fine if you were a very moral person I suppose -- but we all know most here are anything but (including me).

So, I don't blame Kiffin one bit and you can say whatever you like but this is 1 hundo:

quote:

“This is not a Lane Kiffin conundrum. This is a college football conundrum that we need some leadership to step up and change the rules on how this gets done,” Saban said.

ETA: It is shocking how well CFB runs without anyone at the helm.

All he's doing is putting into print what pretty much everyone outside of Baton Rouge thinks about the Kiffin saga

I've always kinda liked LSU but won't be able to be in their corner now that Kiffin is there. Hope he falls on his face.

Very unlikely that he will, and the reality is that people will forget this in 6 months.

Sucks for Ole Miss. Will be rooting for them in the playoffs.

He was going to do that, until the Ole Miss AD put him on the spot and said to either sign the Ole Miss extension or to leave. When Kiffin did the classy thing by being honest about his intention to accept the promotion to LSU, the AD told Kiffin he could not finish the season at Ole Miss.

Probably the first time those two words have been used in the same sentence

Don’t blame him as Lane has never been a man of integrity. He was trying to lock up his coach.

Quietly went out the window when he sent his family

Lock up a coach without integrity? Weird.
