He logged 39 snaps in the game, most of which at Center and had a PFF grade of 69. That was 3rd highest on the oline. Tollison graded out at 49.

Tollison will get the start in the bowl game because hes a captain but based on season long performance the only time he should step on the field is the coin flip.

I hate that his worst season was his last. I think the ACL was part of it, but the penalties he's had can't be blamed on the knee.

Norfleet graded out at 39.5......woof

James graded out at 69.3 on 18 snaps.

IDK how they are justifying putting Norfleet on the field at this point. He and Harris are combining for a nothing burger in the pass game and aren't blocking well enough to get the snaps they are getting.

James has clearly been the better player this year. Hope he stays away from the evil portal!

I hope the staff takes some hard looks and uses bowl prep to get ready for next year.

The staff clearly doesn't trust Beau with the passing offense and he commits mind numbing turn overs. The fumble against air on Saturday...yeesh. Give Zollers the practice and bowl game reps like they did with Cook in 2021.

James needs all the TE reps and they need to scrap the 12 personnel looks. I was hopeful entering the season but its been unproductive in the pass game and meh in the running game, especially vs better teams. Go 4 wide or 11 personnel and spread the defense out. Id rather see what Manning, Olugbode, Blood, James, and Johnson can do as opposed to inviting teams into a phone booth to have the TEs whiff blocks.

The playing time decisions on offense this year have been concerning. At multiple positions

Admittedly I have an average understanding of x and o’s. Your comment about a phone booth made me wonder why we don’t use wider splits on OL. Not Pinkel level, but wide enough to give QB little more time with the edge rush and more room to operate. Won’t work with their running scheme?

If we ran more gap scheme wider splits would help a bit, but for outside zone it opens up lanes for penetration
