Since 2018, Auburn has only drawn more flags than Bama in the Iron Bowl ONCE (2020).

First bama to admit that they don’t get called for holding.

Are we making progress with the unwashed now?

Did any of those games have any serious implications on bama post season, and were they close to matter?

Lastly, it's not the number of flags. It's the timing of the flag that comes to help bama at the right time

It will be Bama battling the refs and the boogs, with a playoff appearance on the line, and Auburn with nothing to lose except ruining Bama’s season. A story as old as time. Happy Thanksgiving all.

You clearly did not comprehend what was posted. The OP pointed out that in four of the last five Iron Bowls Alabama was the MORE penalized team.

The 2023 Iron Bowl was a playoff elimination game. Alabama wins, they are in. They lose they are out. Alabama was flagged 8 times for 72 yards. Auburn was flagged 5 times for 28 yards. Auburn led 24-20.

And then…

I'm not sire what your point is, that's the way we set it up at the REC and at the SEC office in Birmingham because it works out better that way, it makes it less obvious what we're doing.

Yeah, it wasn't your 2 man rush that was the problem, it was some phantom uncalled penalty.

So, you're saying the refs are in Bama's back pocket?

Whether it’s the first drive or the last, a flag that kills or extends a drive matters the same.

Auburn gets more of these than Alabama in the Iron Bowl at JHS going back a decade. There are literally objective stats that show this

Do you know why Alabama had the ball 4th and goal from the 31 yard line in that Iron Bowl?

Or was that part of the plan? March Alabama halfway down the field after having the ball 1st and goal at the 7. Just so they could throw a desperation Hail Mary?
