Has turned Ole Miss into a nationally recognized playoff team

He has changed the culture of the program.
People , fans and players expect to win, they expect to hire coaches who win.
This is nothing like Ole Miss before Lane. (I guess if you are 75 years old, you might remember when they were this good)
Most would remember grandpa or dad talking about the good Ole days.

He's been there 6 seasons. There's what, 4 other coaches in the history of Ole Miss with longer tenure?

Stop acting like he's ruining Ole Miss.

Who’s acting like this? Lane is absolutely ruining a special season.

Holy hell nice to see you brother…an OM fan who actually has the right perspective. I get it though, the same thing happened to us with Saban. We can all now appreciate what he did for us, but at the time it was pretty hard. And if Lane comes to LSU and starts beating Ole Miss most years like Saban did to us, it might be a really long time before you forgive him. But, I am hopeful in time you will realize he did something special for your program. Just like Saban did for us.

Nah, just another post-season run.

That’s his calling card. He can’t focus on the task in front of him.

Has anyone said he’s ruined Ole Miss?

It’s ironic. The guy that has been belting out platitudes about enjoying the moment this season is about to make a decision based solely on his future and not what he can do today.

Well, it is kind of his future you know? You guys want him to make the best decision for you today and not what’s the best decision for him in the long run. The best decision for him in the long run is to go to LSU. Timing sucks though.

He has a contract that extends beyond this year. Honor it for a playoff team.

This rant is filled with Ole Miss people who actually Hate the current coach who has brought them to the playoffs.

They (some) are even saying they don't want him to stay.
Lane hasn't done anything.
Besides focus on winning.

Ole Miss people just can't shake loser mentality even in the middle of historical years

It’s a loser mentality to want your coach to stay committed fully to your program DURING the historical year. Got it.

No troll,

I just want Ole Miss fans to appreciate what now have.
If Lane leaves, Ole Miss is still a leading NIL, playoff caliber school that many great coaches would love to prove themselves at, while they benefit from great pay.

All because Lane turned Ole Miss into a lucrative football program.

Really? Where he’ll have a “Guh-nah” breathing down his throat and might or might not get his pay-off when he decides to bolt from LSU?
