Hope a long time. He doesn't seem like a high level coach at all.

Michigan is the cream of the crop this year in college basketball. They beat San Diego State by 40 last night. We’re not on their level, but we did take Houston to the wire and beat an Oregon team that’ll be in the tournament.

And we returned a whopping ONE frickING PLAYER who averaged over 3 minutes a game from last year.
Less than 20% of any of our offensive categories return.
We played a team that is huge and experienced across the front line, while our biggest players are also our biggest liability right now.
They shot the lights out and we couldn't make layups and free throws.
Damn people, let's be honest.
We are not an elite level team this year, and it is not Steven Pearl's fault.
I will, however, say that I expect to see better effort on defense and rebounding. We would have still taken a beating tonight regardless, but the lack of hustle is fixable, and it's the only chance you have against a bigger, stronger team.
