Aside from Alabama beating St. John's and Illinois, the lone win was Florida > Miami.
Meanwhile, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Miss State and South Carolina are a combined 0-9 vs. KenPom top 150.
14 bids ain't happening again.

Already 14 SEC-BE games played and Creighton wasn’t in any of them.
Good thing, too, because we are a steaming pile of donkey doodoo this year. Our best shooter is already out for the year.

Which means we're halfway done with the OOC slate. Once that book closes every conference reaches a ceiling because all the games are intraconference.
The Players Tournament and ACC/SEC are pretty massive for the league as a whole.

Yeah the league is really setting a hard cap on bids with this OOC performance. Pretty amazing to be this bad on the heels of a historically great OOC last season.
Might be a single digit bid league this year.

2 good opportunities for them. Michigan has looked pretty rough so far this season given their expectations. Oregon always seems like a wild card early in the year the way their roster tends to turnover completely every year.

Not sure everyone fully understands what's going on here, but they will when their team finishes in the top half of the league and still finds themselves on the bubble come March.

I remember the dark days of SEC basketball when teams used to finish 10-6 and 4th place in the conference and go to the NIT.
