Assuming Georgia and OM beat their rivals, along with A&M who is in regardless, that would be 4 ‘lock’ playoff teams, and open the door for a 5th such as a 10-2 Vanderbilt etc
If Bama does not beat Auburn AND win the SEC Championship there will only be 3 lock teams
According to wikipedia the Southeastern Conference is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama

You leaving a 10-2 OU team ranked 8 in the last CFP at home or assuming LSU wins in Norman?

Oklahoma can either take Alabama’s place in the playoffs which is no gain for the SEC, or they can join Alabama in the playoffs increasing the number of SEC teams. The only was for that to happen is Bama wins

Pretty sure your statement of 3 locks was just wrong. If OU beats LSU, it’s 4 locks.

Doubtful. The last time Auburn was penalized more than Bama in the Iron Bowl was 2018. Expect the frickening to continue.

Am I the only person who really doesn't give a shite how many SEC teams make the playoff?

I'm an Alabama fan, not a SEC fan. Sure I'll often defend other SEC teams and the conference because of the stupid shite fans from other conferences say. And if you ask me where teams should be ranked, I'll have multiple SEC teams in those ranking, probably more than most because I value SoS.

But for me to actually pull for certain scenarios to maximize the teams? Hell no. I hope Alabama wins for obvious reasons. Beyond that, it's all about what benefits Alabama.

I'd rather play A&M than Georgia in the SECCG. So in that way I hope A&M beats Texas. But I will laugh at A&M if they don't.

I hope Georgia wins because that game means nothing for the SECCG and Georgia winning makes Alabama's resume look better.

Ole Miss I don't really care about. Alabama didn't play them. I guess them losing lowers Georgia's chances at making the SECCG over Alabama, and it would be funny if Ole Miss loses, so I'll pull for the very unlikely upset.

Oklahoma vs LSU - I guess it's better for Alabama if Oklahoma is seen as a better win. But I don't care about it in terms of Oklahoma's chances to make the playoffs.

Hope Vandy beats the shite outta Tenn, just because frick Tennessee.

Just being real/honest. I'm not "Team SEC".

Nobody needs bama in the playoffs. Better if Vandy sneaks in

If Oklahoma beats LSU, they are pretty much a lock, I would think.
