How the hell can you outgain your opponent, hold them to 17, give up zero points off turnovers, drive the field several times, and still lose?

Be careful what you wish for. A lot of jobs open and not many good coaches to fill them. So imagine drink leaving, who do you hire that is better? There is a reason why we are paying lane so much. No really good coaches are out there.

Y’all really want to win the press conference hire again? You realize taking a prominent coach from another P4 school hasn’t worked out for anyone in the last 30+ years, right?
Landscape is changing and while Drink had success by being one of the first to change with it, his coaching ability has caught back up with him.
