I know he said he plans on staying but do you believe him?

Will CDC keep him if he loses one or both of the last two games?

I mean if CDC had balls he would have forced Sark to get a real OC/playcaller back in 2024.

There is enough smoke though that my guess is Sark will be given a choice to walk or everything gets disclosed. It's pretty well known he went on a bender after the Cotton Bowl loss and was checked into rehab hence the 30 day AWOL including missing junior day with the "flu".

Mix in the rumors about his WR tapping his wife, him tapping the volleyball team, and that his kid with Loreal might not be his and that's just not the drama that the big wigs at Texas can stomach.

Who would you imagine Texas would target as a replacement?

Don t know I do know we are obsessed with being able to virtue signal about the hire which is what makes the smoke means fire stuff could be real.

I can definitely say it won't be Kiffin.

I think it will either be Sark returns with restrictions/rules or someone who checks the virtue signaling boxes.

If it were me I'd kick the tires on Glenn Schumann, Bob Chesney, Eric Morris, & Jon Sumral.

I’d avoid Schumann I think he kind of blows tbh

Morris would be interesting as he’s already plugged into the state and Denton is pretty much DFW or close enough to it that he’s in a heavy recruiting ground for the state anyway?

Good offense, I’ll admit just found out about him this year so I wouldn’t want Florida to go after someone like that I just found out about recently as we have a history of those hires and usually they have sucked so I hope we try to hire someone that’s a bit more of a splash if not just to give the fans something to be excited about.

But from what I hear about Morris he seems like a promising coach that a lot of people are intrigued by

Very

If we had to replace him, my guess would be Lanning. Schools go with the opposite of what they just had, so with Sark being an offensive coach I would assume they would hire a defensive minded coach.

That being said if you look at a lot of the top jobs in CFB, coordinator as head coaches have done a great job (Sark at Texas, Lanning at Oregon, Kirby at Georgia) I think coordinators warrant a look at well.
