What is funny about that is Kiffin thinks so much of himself I wouldn’t put it past him. He has grown up a lot at Ole Miss. But he still lacks what most of us carry in our daily lives. Professionalism. That comes from character.

The guy really does know how to burn bridges. But hey, he makes way more money than I do so I guess it doesn’t matter in the scheme of things.

Lane has decided to take his talents to south beach ala LeBron James in 2010. He’s gonna coach the Canes

What if the only way he has grown/matured is in how to put forth a persona that he has grown and matured?

Isn't that really what we all do anyway?

Kiffin has won nothing without Pete Carroll or Nick Saban. Pretty dipshit coach without both them studs running the ship.

Third time or whatever maybe the charm tough

He’ll be a pariah outside of Baton Rouge. Disliked across the college football world.

The negative press is already off the charts, LSU did nothing wrong. The way he handled this is 100% on him.

There is a blistering piece on Kiffin on Yahoo sports. He is getting torched.

Real POS.

He really, royally fricked his reputation this time around. If he does stay, they need to hire the greatest PR team in the world to coach him through the perfect press conference.

Yea, he’s turned a perennial loser, in Ole Miss, into a perennial winner and now perennial playoff contender. I’d say that you maybe left that part out, to fulfill your silly narrative, lmfao.

Dude.. Saban literally said "im not going to be the head coach at Alabama". Followed him going to Alabama and becoming hated.

Then he started winning and nobody cared.

Ole Miss people bashing him isn't a great vote of confidence...

He addressed it at a press conference, he didn’t make a spectacle out of the whole situation. I wouldn’t really compare the two situations

This. I also don’t remember Saban doing a massive PR tour about how much Baton Rouge changed him and how Saban needs LSU more than LSU needs Saban.

Pretty much every coach has denied rumors about their next job.

Kiffin is not going anywhere. Driving up his NIL pool while getting himself a big raise. All this about nothing.

They lie because they have to lie. It's part of the process at this point.

Trust press conferences, not rumors.

(I don't think Kiffin leaves, but I'm not sure why his camp is doing so much trolling. I guess we will see.)
