Bama gonna reach the SEC title game, lose, and be out of the playoff.
Thanks to FSU

Bama would be out if TT loses the Big 12 CG. Short of winning the SEC.

I think we are in if we beat Auburn. Regardless of the SECCG. Unless a total blowout.

GA, OU and Bama “EACH” have more ranked wins than all 3 B10 teams combined. Let that sink in.
Another way to see, those 3 SEC teams have 10 combined ranked wins and the 3 B10 teams have 2 combined ranked wins.

ACC and G5 have no business in the playoff this year

Most likely but if the Big 12 or ACC got 2 in things could get crazy.

Incredible that a team can lose to Florida and still be 17. But I guess they want to make our game look more competitive to hype it up. Ags down by 15 at the half and win by 10.
Also surprised they didn't put JM and UNT in considering they have a path while several there do not.

Yeah if either of those get in 2 it’s an issue for sure.

I wouldn’t be so sure with this committee

Well FSU did whip Bama.

In reality with the remaining games Bama is probably safe if they beat Auburn. It would probably take MI beating OSU to make it possible for 4 Big 10 teams to get in or GA tech beating GA to get a spot as a non champion for Bama not to get in.

That’s what I was thinking. Better choice is to win every game including the SECCG but that’s a tall order against Auburn at home and what seems to be a really good AM team.

I see the committee isn't falling for ESPNs James Madison nonsense as they have beat literally no one. It will be the American conference winner most likely with San Diego State having a slim chance if there was chaos there the last 2 weeks.

Yep the committee isn't following their usual leanings having ND where they do in front of Bama. They used to reward nice wins more than nice losses.

TxTech ahead of Ole Miss is laughable
