In a 24 Team Playoff Scenario, how many teams does the SEC get in?

6-10 depending on the year.
I mean at this point just finish in the top half and you should be good.

There is probably at max 6-8 teams in a given season that could ever win a playoff bracket.
There is no point in handing out participation ribbons (which we are already doing) it just dilutes the product and risks injury in the process.

All 16 SEC teams, Notre Dame, Ohio State x 4, 1 other B1G team, 1 ACC team, and 1 token Big 12/G5 team for slaughter.
