Beat at home by Oklahoma and with two losses, yet still has Bama 2 spots above OU and over undefeated A&M. Lol

Just one loss. First loss was week 1, that's the preseason.

UGA regardless of record is the best team in sec . I respect what A@M has done but if they had Bama or OUs schedule they would have 1-2 losses even A@M fans deep down most would agree . They haven’t faced a single team inside top 7 of sec .

UGA
A@M
Ole Miss
OU
Bama.
Vandy
Tenn
Texas

Wins and losses have nothing to do with power rankings.

Yes.

In fact, I just copied the F+ power rankings.

It's not my fault the majority of you don't know the different between season rankings and power rankings.

Your ignorance on the topic doesn't change my votes.

so if this same bama team was 5-5, they'd still be power ranked 2nd in your humble opinion?

Power ranking is a measure of team strength. Season rankings are a measure of the wins and losses they have.

For example, right now Auburn is ranked #25 in F+ despite being 4-6. Florida St is #24 despite being 5-5. Penn St is #21 despite being 4-6.

LSU is #26.

Take a look at Auburn for example. Terrible record. However, they have also played the 9th toughest schedule in the country. They have played multiple top teams and they have all been close games, except Kentucky that got Freeze fired.

If we do season rankings there is no way in hell you rank a 4-6 Auburn team in the top 25. But if you're trying to gauge how strong a team is beyond it's record, then it's other factors that matter such as the ability to move the ball offensively and prevent teams from moving the ball defensively.

If you want my season rankings for the SEC, they would be much different. It would be more like:

1. Texas A&M
2. Georgia
3. Ole Miss
4. Oklahoma
5. Alabama

Power ranking isn’t wholly about the record. UGA is the best team right now

I've been ranking Georgia #1 in the power ratings every week for awhile now. Their defense is a little off this year, but their offense has been getting it done.

But in season rankings, they have a loss to Alabama so I put Texas A&M ahead of them. A&M has a weaker schedule, but not by much. 1.67 expected losses for Georgia vs 1.40 for A&M.

I also have Georgia number one

I’m making fun of the Alabama fan who has Alabama above Oklahoma
