What has Lane accomplished?

His accomplishments don’t seem to warrant all this attention. 12-1 FAU? Cool.

He turned fau into a winning program in 1 year. He's turned ole miss into one of the best teams in the country. His offenses have had several Heisman winners. He's actually very accomplished and has a history of winning.

THANK YOU! I've been saying this all along. Of course, we're both about to get stoned on this forum, but I cannot, for the life of me, see what all of the fuss is about. He bombed out in 1 season at Tenny, flopped at USC, was moderately successful at SW A&M Florida Tech School for the Blind, and now...well, he's done ok at Ole Missy, but no championships to show for it. Sooooooooo, why is he the hottest coaching commodity on the market?

For a program like OM, he has done exceedingly well. Knock his behavior all you want but he made OM relevant.

Check out Ole Miss record after Hugh Freeze was fired.
They quickly turned into a dumpster fire… Lane put the fire out and rebuilt a really good program.
All coaches are measured by… are you a program builder or a program destroyer.

He didn't bomb out at UT. He even had both Bama and Florida on the ropes in their home stadiums that year and should have won both games. He had sanctions at USC and never had a complete roster. He had a good year at FAU, and he's had Ole Miss in the playoff hunt the last few years. Looks like he's done well to me

Lane is a good coach. Lane is not a great coach. I think Kiffin wants to be mentioned with Nick Saban when people talk about him. The problem with that is Kiffin has a record closer to James Franklin.

Well to be fair, Saban, Miles, and O hadn't accomplished anything either before the LSU job
